Why I Built This Series & Who It's For:
You've started running, riding, or both, and now you want bigger days, more technical trails, and maybe your first event or race.
The ski/board/sled season is coming and you want to hit the snow resilient, strong and able to chase powder as soon as it flies.
Whether your goal is big days, an ultra, or simply staying injury-free and feeling your best, we get there together.
Training with structure and specificity, building real understanding of how to move well — because this isn't about one season, it's about a lifetime on the trails.
This series covers the strength and conditioning to keep you performing longer, plus the awareness and understanding to approach your movement and mountain time more mindfully.
We'll structure well-balanced weeks the way I do for my competitive athletes, breaking down the skills, breath, posture, and position that make you more efficient out there.
The result: more hours, more years, and more moments of flow on the trail.
This program comes from years working with outdoor athletes across disciplines — water, snow, and technical trails — weaving in movement and mindfulness practices that build the self-awareness to perform at your best now and for years to come.
Best part, we train hard and with purpose, not alone, but together — a collective built on one shared love of the outdoors.
The Blocks
Fall / Winter Periodized Program is broken into three blocks. They have the ability to be progressive, if you are doing all three; or, scaled to be foundation if you are joining for just one.
Tuesday
Group Strength Session - 5pm
Coach led, together as one group we do our heavy lifting and power work. Weights are relative, but the patterns are there to grow your strengthwith precision and direct application to your sport.
Thursday
Open Gym Endurance Session - 8am, 10:45 or 1pm
We all have "gaps" in your movement patterns, technique and ability to endure positions while remaining stable and in control. Day 2 is all about filling those gaps, our foundation and increasing readiness
.
Three options to come in and execute your second day in the studio. Guided by your coach, but accommodating your schedule.
Sunday
Group Outdoor Session
This is where we apply structure to our outdoor pursuits. In the fashion of intervals, all levels welcome, or playful rides with "digs" dropped in. We will grow mindfulness and apply the in-studio work to the trail becoming more mindful athletes.
Mobility
Built Into Your Program. Coach Supported
Mobility is key and mustn't be forgotten in our movement practice. It, combined with stability, is the glue that holds it all together.
Exercises and practices will be structured and provided to movers based on their personal highest priority to keep them going.

The Schedule
Each block is four weeks long. Each week, four days of programmed movement practice. Two strength, power & endurance in-studio. Two cardio & technique outdoors.
What's Provided. What To Bring.
Each Block Includes
4 Week Training Program
Your program will consist of 4 days of movement practice: 2 days of resistance training and 2 days of outdoor cardio. Programs include access to my video-database so there is no uncertainty of what's being asked.
The exercises are provided, but the weights are relative.
Similarly, when it comes to cardio outside, the activity is up to you to choose. Whether you run, bike, skate-ski or enjoy an uphill grind, they all count and all contribute to your cardio.
Tuesday Group Session
Access to the studio for our group session Tuesday evening is included. Your coach will be there to lead the workout, coach the patterns and support you through any questions or concerns. This is our "heavier" day, so plan accordingly.
Sunday Outdoor Session
We will alternate activity. Sometimes we ride, sometimes we grind EVAC or uphill and sometimes we meetup to run intervals.
For the non-bikers, don't stress, we wont be riding every weekend - maybe once or twice max per block.
For the non-runners, don't stress, usually if we run, we do so in a way that provides opportunity to do a run/walk and respect your level, wherever that level is at.
Regardless, you will leave the four weeks with a better understanding how to pace, breathe and be more effective while on the trails.
Personal Coaching
I'll be your coach for the entire block(s). That means in person on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and behind the scenes using your program as a way to track progress, make adjustments and ensure you are applying the most effective mobility and readiness techniques to your evenings and days off.
Not Included
Open Gym Pass
Your coach will be there to guide you through your second workout. But you will need to purchase a 10 class pass from Wild Life to access Open Gym. They are $100 for 10 classes.
If you are attending all three blocks, you'll only need to purchase this once - we will make it work.
Program Logging
It's expected that you log your efforts in the studio and outdoors. By tracking your output, I can help you progress throughout the block(s).
You get out what you put in!
Rain Gear
Rain or shine, we are outdoors hitting the trails. Bring your shell, merino socks and can-do-attitude.

"The program is very well put together, and precisely targets the strengths and skills we need to really perform our best in the mountains at whatever sports we choose.
With precision and a highly skilled eye, Julian honed in on exactly where each of us needed support, personalizing our experiences in each session, making it more of a personal training experience in group format."
