Mountain Bike Coaching
Private skills-based coaching to take what we develop in the studio and apply it to the bike.
Whether you're looking to build specific skills, progress to black diamond trails, working on your cornering or increasing your endurance, these personalized on-bike sessions will close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

As a movement coach first, my approach to bike coaching is different than what you might expect from your local cycling club. I bring the same level of detail from assessing a client in the studio, to the trails. I want to see how you move, handle your bike, maintain body position and utilize things like physicality and breath to maximize your potential. This is more than "bike coaching", it's awareness in motion.
What A Session Looks Like
There are mountain bike fundamentals, the same way there are movement fundamentals. But there are also ways we naturally move. Our session brings these things together in a way that makes riding effective, playful and as safe as possible.

What's Your Why?
Let's begin with why you are interested in hiring a bike coach. You might want to build confidence for harder trails. Or, increase technical skills like cornering or jumping. We'll start with your why!
Then using PMBI foundational techniques, we will leverage your strengths and address your areas of opportunity. Some things are universal like body-bike positioning, or braking points. We'll review these fundamentals, and close the gap.
Lastly, using my own coaching model, I will lean into the physiology and neurology of movement and human kinematics. Your movement patterns, are natural to you, let's not minimize these expressions, but maximize these attributes of you!
Private and Group Details
Private Session:
3 Hours $345
Based on your goals and skill level, location will be determined after our initial call. Sessions will be held in the hills of Squamish, BC.
These sessions can be combined with athletic development programs to build your fitness and technique for the riding season.
Group Session:
Half Day & Full Day
Want to experience some of the best trails in the Sea to Sky while building your bike awareness?
We will apply some common practices to the bike while discovering some of my communities favourite spots.
